Serving Tacoma, WA

Tacoma Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Tacoma is one of our favorite cities to shoot — gritty brick walls one block, water and Mount Rainier the next.

We photograph Tacoma weddings at venues from Thea's Landing and the Foss Waterway to historic ballrooms downtown, plus elopements at Point Defiance and Chambers Bay just south.

For couples, families, and seniors, the city gives us range: industrial alleys for moody portraits, beaches for golden hour, and the Stadium District's classic architecture for something timeless.

We're based 40 minutes south, so Tacoma sessions are part of our home market — no extra travel fee for anything inside city limits.

Tacoma Photography FAQ

How much does a Tacoma wedding photographer cost?
Tacoma wedding collections start at $2,800 for shorter coverage and most full-day couples invest $4,500–$6,500. Every collection includes an engagement session and full high-resolution gallery.
Do you photograph elopements at Point Defiance?
Yes — Point Defiance is one of our most-requested elopement spots. We handle small ceremonies of 2–20 guests with a 2 or 4 hour elopement collection that includes ceremony, portraits, and golden-hour beach frames.
What's your travel fee for Tacoma weddings?
None. Tacoma is part of our core service area along with Olympia, Lacey, DuPont, JBLM, and Yelm. Travel inside Pierce and Thurston counties is always included.
Can you recommend Tacoma wedding venues?
Always. After photographing dozens of Tacoma weddings, we have honest opinions on light, layout, and which venues photograph best at every season — Thea's Landing, the Foss Waterway, Chambers Bay, the Tacoma Yacht Club, and historic downtown ballrooms are all favorites.
When should I book a Tacoma wedding photographer?
Tacoma weddings peak May through October. We recommend booking 9–12 months in advance, especially for Saturday weddings at waterfront venues.
Do you shoot urban portraits in downtown Tacoma?
Yes — downtown Tacoma is one of our favorite portrait backdrops. Brick alleys in the Theater District, Union Station, the UWT campus, and the Stadium District all give very different looks in a single short session.
Do you offer family and senior portrait sessions in Tacoma?
Yes. We book lifestyle family sessions at Point Defiance and Wright Park, and senior portraits across downtown Tacoma, Chambers Bay, and Owen Beach year round.
How long until I receive my Tacoma wedding photos?
Final galleries deliver in 6–8 weeks. You'll get a sneak peek of 20–40 images within the first week after your wedding.
