Olympia wedding photography

Serving Olympia, WA

Olympia Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Olympia gives us the best of the South Sound — the Capitol dome, working waterfront, old-growth parks, and that soft PNW marine light.

We photograph weddings at Hotel RL, the Olympia Ballroom, private estates around Lacey and Tumwater, and outdoor ceremonies at Priest Point Park, Tumwater Falls, and Capitol Lake.

Engagement and family sessions thrive here too — Percival Landing at sunset, the Capitol grounds in spring, and the trail system at Watershed Park year round.

Our editing leans warm, vibrant, and true to skin tone. Nothing trendy, nothing that will look dated in five years. Just the moment, a little softer.

Olympia Photography FAQ

How much does an Olympia wedding photographer cost?
Olympia wedding collections start at $2,800 for elopement coverage, with most full-day weddings investing $4,500–$6,500. Every collection includes an engagement session and a full high-resolution online gallery.
Do you photograph at the Washington State Capitol?
Yes — and we know the cherry blossom timing window better than the calendar does. The Capitol grounds are a favorite for spring engagements and post-ceremony portraits.
What's a good Olympia wedding venue for 100 guests?
We love the Olympia Ballroom downtown and the Hands On Children's Museum waterfront space for that size, plus several private estates around Lacey and Tumwater. We can talk through more options on a free consult.
Do you offer rehearsal coverage in Olympia?
Yes, as an add-on or as part of our larger collections. We'll confirm timing during your final timeline call about 4 weeks before your wedding.
When should I book my Olympia wedding photographer?
Olympia's peak wedding season is June–September. Book 9–12 months in advance for Saturday dates, and 6 months out is usually safe for off-season Friday or Sunday weddings.
Do you charge a travel fee for Olympia weddings?
No. Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, DuPont, JBLM, Tacoma, and Yelm are all part of our core no-travel-fee service area.
What outdoor ceremony locations do you recommend in Olympia?
Tumwater Falls Park, Priest Point Park, Capitol Lake, and Burfoot Park are all gorgeous outdoor ceremony spots. Each photographs very differently — happy to walk through the trade-offs.
Do you photograph engagements and family sessions in Olympia?
Yes — Percival Landing at sunset, the Capitol grounds in spring, Watershed Park, and the Tumwater Historical Park are all favorite session locations year round.
