The Ultimate Senior Photo Checklist (Outfits, Props, Timeline)
Everything to bring to your senior portrait session — outfits, props, snacks, and the 24-hour countdown checklist we send every Class of senior.

The best senior portrait sessions are the most prepared ones. Here's the exact 24-hour countdown checklist we send every senior we book.
Outfits (bring 2–3)
- One outfit that feels like 'you on a great day'
- One outfit with movement — flowy fabric, a great jacket
- One outfit with personal meaning — sports jersey, instrument, work uniform
- Skip: brand-new outfits with creases, anything itchy, white from the waist down
Props with story
Bring three: something you love (a book, an instrument), something that represents senior year (jersey, varsity jacket), something nostalgic (childhood stuffed animal, your dog).
Day-of essentials
- Lint roller (life-changing for portraits)
- Translucent powder for shine
- Hairbrush + hair tie
- Snack + water bottle
- Comfortable shoes for walking between locations
Mental prep
Eat a real meal beforehand. Bring a friend if it helps you relax. Trust the photographer's prompts — even when they feel weird in the moment, they almost always look good in the final gallery.
"The seniors who bring the most personal stuff get the most personal galleries. Every time."
