Hannah & Jordan
Tumwater Falls Park · August 12, 2025
Hannah and Jordan planned a Tumwater Falls Park wedding around two non-negotiables: the falls in the ceremony backdrop, and a long, slow golden hour for portraits. Both showed up.
We started the day at the brewery-side suites with bourbon, soft window light, and Hannah's grandmother's veil. The girls got ready upstairs, the guys downstairs, and Jordan wrote his vows on the back of the rehearsal-dinner napkin twenty minutes before the first look.
The first look happened on the upper bridge with the falls roaring underneath. We kept it quiet — no wedding party, no parents, just the two of them and us with a long lens at the far end of the bridge.
Ceremony was 5:30pm under the falls overlook. The light was perfect. We shot family formals on the brewery lawn, then snuck the couple back to the falls for a 20-minute golden hour window that produced the gallery's hero frames.
Reception was string-lit, brewery-tasting, and a first dance to a song neither set of parents recognized. Last call was 11pm, sparkler send-off was 11:15, and we left the gallery loaded into the car at midnight with 1,200 frames to edit.
